Gheorghe Iova and Ion Georgiu arrived at Recaș at the same time as fresh college graduates 41 years ago. Gheorghe Iova is passionate about viticulture and Ion Georgiu about winemaking. In 1998, they co-opted the British Philip Cox into the team and together they started the privatization of the wine producer. Now Cramele Recaș exports wines to over 25 countries.
