His focus in house music was triggered in the virgin warehouses of San Francisco, CA before moving down the coast to Los Angeles. As one of the major players in laying the foundations of a strong West Coast dance scene, Doc has always been a master at mixing the crowd with the music. Neatly avoiding pigeonholing, his sets create a unique vibe of unity on the dancefloor, whilst embracing a myriad of different styles. For example, Doc´s sets at the now legendary Flammable Liquid, Sunday Love, Toontown and Soundfactory knew no colors, age or sexual orientation, only a love of the music.
