Te Kōputu Kōrero a Tā Hirini Moko Mead is the name of the library opened in 2012 by Te Arikinui Tā Tumu Te Heuheu (VIII). Located in Whakatāne, the library acquires resources that support the curriculum taught at Awanuiārangi, with a special emphasis and priority to acquire resources relevant to the Mātaatua rohe. Our library provides and promotes excellent information services to support and enrich the research, education and teaching needs of our wānanga.
