PICK AXE LOOP - Take 2: A Classic Bike on Back Roads
A month ago I rode part of the 300+ kms back roads 'Pick Axe Loop' on my 1960 Panther ( • PANTHER ON THE PICK AXE LOOP: Or some of i... ) but I was too early in the season. Most of the interesting parts were still socked in with ice and snow. So, this time I took my 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado (another fine ADV bike), to see how she fared now that those unmaintained road sections should be open. This were going well. I'd ridden for a few hours on some delightful gravel single-track roads when.........well, watch the video and find out.
