LIGHT THE BUNCH OF SAGE, and turn off the flame when it starts to smoke. To PURIFY AN ENVIRONMENT, spread the smoke with a feather, a fan, or simply by moving the bunch. direct the smoke TOWARDS AN OPEN DOOR OR WINDOW, so that it can GO OUT, CARRYING AWAY NEGATIVE ENERGIES. To PURIFY YOURSELF OR ANOTHER PERSON: Use your hand or a feather to direct the smoke towards your body. You should start at the TOP and work your way down. Direct the smoke directly into the HEART area, the place where the densest energies accumulate. Then proceed to the crown chakra and down to the root chakra. DO NOT INHALE DIRECTLY LARGE QUANTITIES OF SMOKE AND DO NOT SATURATE THE ROOMS. You can use BUNCHES OF WHITE SAGE, if they are commonly found on the market, but you can also produce it yourself.
