Autodesk Inventor Belt Drive System | Part Modelling and Generation | Assembly and Simulation

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to create and animate a complete belt drive system in Autodesk Inventor. This project combines custom modeling with standard components to achieve a realistic mechanical assembly. I modeled the supporting frame from scratch, then used the Design Accelerator to insert the belt and pulley system. The bearings were sourced externally and integrated into the assembly for a complete functional setup. The tutorial also includes motion simulation to show how the system operates in real-time, making it perfect for beginners and intermediate users looking to improve their assembly and animation skills. 🔧 What you’ll learn: Frame modeling in Autodesk Inventor Using Design Accelerator for belt and pulley systems Importing and assembling external components (bearings) Applying constraints for proper motion Running animation and simulation This is a beginner-friendly tutorial with practical mechanical design applications.
