CHS Art Club Weaving: Turning Plastic Into Fabric
Cranford High School's Art Club, under the direction of teacher Julie Roffe Barkin and volunteer June Brown, are creating a weaving project that exhibits the daily temperatures of the years 1924 and 2024 to analyze trends in climate change. It also teaches students how to create fabric by using a loom. Want to get involved? Donate plastic bags such as those that hold avocados and oranges to the Cranford Community Center.
