Silage Baling Complete Process

Silage Baling Starts! The baling of Sorghum Silage using our new Silage Baiing Equipment has started with the training of a crew which would handle the operations. There are still kinks in the operation as our workers get to know the machine better. In some instances, the Silage got stuck in the diaphragm of the machine because of overfeeding though the conveyor. Several times the mesh spool jumped out of the frame while the thin plastic film used to wrap the silage snapped. The workers assigned to the machine are in the process of learning and soon I expect them to operate it smoothly. So far, we have baled about 5 metric tons of Sorghum Silage and after 15 days, we will check whether the fermentation process was successful. Only after all these tests are completed will we be ready to share our Baled Sorghum Silage to other farmers. #ScientificFarming!
