Universities are often presented as the sure path to professional success, but the real experience for many students is quite different. In this video, we analyze the dark side of university life, from entrance exams and students who study due to family pressure, to the use of student ID cards, group projects, and the differences between online and in-person classes, to endless university procedures and professors who generate constant criticism. We also explore university life outside the classroom: parties, social gatherings, students who spend most of their day on campus, dilapidated facilities, neglected bathrooms, constantly rising tuition fees, student marches, and security problems within universities. Added to this is the reality of the job market in Peru, where not everyone manages to work in their field of study, little-known stories, and strange anecdotes that are part of the university environment. A critical and realistic analysis of what it really means to study for a university degree in Peru, beyond the advertising, rankings, and promises of success.
