We are starting on the first leg of our Round the Edge of New Zealand series. The plan is to travel as close to the countries' surrounding seas as possible, at times visiting remote parts that only the locals normally see. So today, we start by visiting the European birthplace of the South Island, Port Underwood—a place lost in the mists of time to most people. This is on the top of the South Island, so the Episode will start with an S, in this case, S 01. The North Island Episodes will start with an N, so as the series develops, you will be able to easily navigate the edge of the entire country.
