Space Jam: Wenn nicht so viel geht. Berliner Meisterschaften 2024.

Hello dear friends, today I'm sharing my highlights from the Berlin Championships with you. The venue brought back many great memories for me, and it was definitely the right decision to get back on the court to gain match practice and see where I'm at. Of course, I want you to share not only my good days and successful performances, but also the moments that didn't go so well. For me personally, these championships were one of the weakest tournaments, combined with various challenges. It wasn't about the lost games, but more about the fact that a lot of things were wrong. The timing on my backhand was lacking, my fitness was abysmal, my decision-making wasn't optimal, my zip was lacking, and I lacked ball control. I'm getting old ;) My game was too passive, accompanied by a lot of running backwards – in short, a lot of things were wrong. But I think it's important for you to see that such phases can happen to me and other players too. I will now train more intensively to get back to my old form. It should also be mentioned that the mixed doubles competition, combined with doubles and singles, is simply too much of a strain after a six-week break.
