Pininfarina, founded in 1930 by Battista Farina, known as "Pinin," began its business designing and building custom bodies for luxury and racing cars. Over the years, he has collaborated with many of the world's most prestigious automotive brands, including the beautiful Corvette Rondine coupé (1963), the luxurious Ferrari 250 GT Lusso (1963-1964), the legendary Dino 206 GT (1965-1969), the timeless Alfa Romeo Spider – Duetto (1966-1994), the formidable 124 Sport Spider (1966-1985), the revolutionary Peugeot 504 Coupé & Cabriolet (1969-1983), the Fiat 130 Coupé estate (1971-1977), the rally-bred Lancia Beta Monte Carlo (1975-1978), the elegant Ferrari 288 GTO (1984-1985), and the unforgettable Ferrari Testarossa. (1984-1996), the extraordinary Ferrari F40 (1987-1992), the modern Alfa Romeo 164 (1988-1997), the beautiful Peugeot 406 Coupé (1997-2004), the innovative Ferrari P4/5 (2006), and the latest Maserati Granturismo (2007-2019). Many of these brands' most iconic cars were designed and built by Pininfarina. One of Pininfarina's most famous partnerships is with Ferrari. The collaboration between the two companies has led to the creation of some of the world's most beautiful and famous sports cars, such as the Ferrari Testarossa, the Ferrari F40, and the Ferrari Enzo, to name a few. Unfortunately, as you'll see from the various images and videos of numerous visits by various people, the old factories have been abandoned for years. Very little remains of the cars; vandalism likely contributed to the decision to dismantle and demolish what remained. Today, the Pininfarina brand has been sold abroad, so we can say that this is the end of a prestigious brand that made us dream.
