Irene’s Black Greek March 1 Indoor Figs. The fertilizers definitely work

Super excited today. I know there are so many variables that go into a tasty fig, so it’s super hard to call out one over the other. But I’m trying to see how much these sweetening fertilizers work. I went weeks without any. The brix dropped to below 25. Still fine though. I added them again, and after the first couple of weeks, brix went up about 5 on comparably ripened figs. Few more weeks and these numbers are real high. Again, I know other factors are at play here, such as this was the most mature fig from the IBG tree so far. And it’s been real hot in my house because of the outside cold temps. But I bet a pretty high percentage of this increase was a direct result of the fertalizers. Plus, the heavy hit of Fox Farm Cultivation Nation yesterday (all of them at once - showed in separate video) did not negatively affect the trees. They look super happy today. But that stuff smells more chemically than the other Fox Farm stuff where they have the ingredient more isolated, such as specific fish emulsion or kelp feed. The cultivation nation stuff looks all mixed up and doesn’t smell natural. The natural smell is horrible, but it still feels better.
