First chapter in a series of war-themed tracks. “ZERO HOUR” marks the moment when collapse begins. This song was written around that second when fear becomes mechanical and instinct takes the place of thought. “ZERO HOUR” speaks of the moment before action, when reason starts to break down and the inner beast awakens. Orders lose their meaning, and survival becomes the only role left to play. There are no victories here. There is no redemption. Only the realization that once the clock starts counting down, there is no way back. This track opens the series by standing exactly at that point. The moment when a human being stops asking why, and the war begins again.
