Northern Fury - Episode 8: Mournful Congregation
Northern Fury caught up with Australia's kings of funeral doom, Mournful Congregation when the band stopped off in Portland, Oregon on December 1, 2011 as part of their first ever tour of the United States. Among other things they discussed with us the recording of their latest album titled The Book of Kings and the concepts behind it, what doom metal and the music that they create represents to them personally, their musical influences both past and present and what they have in mind for the future of Mournful Congregation. On top of that, the interview footage is interspersed with live footage from the band's stellar performance that night in Portland. Enjoy!
