Bakerloo Line: Harrow & Wealdstone to Paddington

In this video, we make a southbound journey on the London Underground Bakerloo Line 1972 stock train from Harrow & Wealdstone to Paddington calling at all stations (Kenton, South Kenton, North Wembley, Wembley Central, Stonebridge Park, Harlesden, Willesden Junction, Kensal Green, Queen's Park, Kilburn Park, Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue and Paddington). A few decades ago, the Bakerloo Line used to terminate at Watford Junction but the route was subsequently shortened with trains terminating at Stonebridge Park before being re-extended to Harrow & Wealdstone in the 1980s. Recently, a proposed southbound extension of the Bakerloo Line to Hayes has been approved and there are a number of options being considered as to what the route from Elephant & Castle to Hayes will be. The most likely option will be to connect Lewisham, Catford and Beckenham on the way. The extension is due to be completed by the 2030s. Additionally, there have been proposals and debates on re-extending the Bakerloo Line to Watford Junction again as the recently approved Metropolitan Line extension will see a connection between the two lines at the station.
