Slowest Kart Ever - BUKC Inters Rd. 4 Whilton Mill Race 3

Footage from the final round of the 2024 BUKC Intermediates Championship at Whilton Mill on the International layout with the new final corner. I started in 6th place in Race 3 driving for UCL A as we led the championship going into this round. Unfortunately, I quickly realised I'd ended up with a dreadful kart that had no speed whatsoever, meaning I lost so much time on every straight - my fastest lap time in the race was nearly a second slower than my best lap in qualifying and would've put me about 25th in the race based on fastest lap. However thanks to my teammate Matthew for UCL C who caught up to me when I dropped to 12th, I was able to finish in P12 after he basically pushed me around the track and defended brilliantly against the train that had formed behind us. Sadly this and even more bad luck when teammate Laurence broke down from the lead in Race 1 meant we couldn't quite win the championship this year, but we at least ended up 3rd place overall for the season.
