Monkees Arrival in Sydney and Press Conference 9-16-68 RARE Far East Tour!
The Monkees arrive in Sydney, Australia for their Far East Tour of Australia and Japan on September 16, 1968, followed by a press conference at Miller's Brighton Hotel. (Portions of the audio of this press conference was released as the album THE MONKEES TALK DOWN UNDER in 1988.) This would be their last tour as a foursome until 1997, as Peter Tork would leave the band in December 1968.
