Yuanzaibing is a new restaurant in New York's Chinatown that served Taishanese cuisine. Taishan is a region in southern China and is directly related to the more famous Cantonese cuisine with some differences. Taishan is also known has Hoisan, Toisan, Toysun among others. Taishanese people are also the earliest Chinese immigrants to America, so it was interesting to finally see a restaurant that is openly Taishanese and promoted as Taishanese.
