REMEMBERING JAWS AND THE ORCA with Nigel R. Humphreys and Marty Milner. EPISODE 1.

Dive into this first in a series of very special podcast interviews, between myself, Nigel R. Humphreys of NRH Pop Culture Art (I am the creator of the 'Lights and Sounds ORCA Model Kit' currently being produced by the legendary AGORA MODELS) and those who worked on the original production of JAWS, which started principle photography on May 2, 1974. This, my first interview, is with the 'ever so delightful' Marty Milner. Marty was the set/prop construction supervisor during the entire production of JAWS on Martha's Vineyard and he, along with his talented crew of carpenters, painters and welders, worked tirelessly on on all manner of props and sets to make the film authentic, not to mention all their work on the two filming ORCAs. This first JAWS podcast interview is a treat for JAWS fans and my second episode with Marty is already underway and this will premiere to YouTube very soon. When I begin designing a new pop culture collectible, I start by thinking totally outside of the 'normie' box. You see, in a world drowning in Batman, Spiderman and Superman collectibles, I prefer to create something totally new, inventive and seriously dynamic. I take no prisoners in making sure my creations are totally off the charts in terms of originality, aesthetic appeal. I love to offer pop culture collectors a mind blowing new collecting experience based on the worlds and characters they have come to know and love. With respect to the creation of my 'JAWS: Lights & Sounds ORCA Model Kit' product, I had one major objective in mind, right from the start, that it was to thrill the living daylights out of JAWS fans worldwide! It had to boast a repeatable 'lights and sounds jaws experience' via a remote control handset! It had to belt out Robert Shaw's full Indianapolis speech, play a haunting 'buoy bell' seascape reminiscent of the first shark attack scene, play crashing surf and seagull sounds and play my specifically chosen tracks from John Williams original cinematic score. But this wasn't all I wanted it to do, I wanted it to have interior cabin lighting, mast lighting and play gutsy 'throttle up' and 'throttle down' engine sounds and a spinning propeller and moveable rudder. In the words of Quint.... "the whole damn thing!" My lights and sounds ORCA is just the beginning in a long line of NRHPCA pop culture creations I am currently designing and they are all aimed at collectors who seek a totally new collecting experience unlike anything they have experienced before. Having grown up myself watching the finest animated children's television series the 1970s had to offer, I have come full circle and currently developing two brand new animated children's TV series of my own.
