Honda Trail 70 Dax Mini-Chopper First Ride

I'm gonna hop on this here 1970's Honda Trail 70 that's all done up like a minature chopper and give it the old POV spin around the block I'll tell ya these newer GoPro's with the motion smoothing would make a supercross race POV look like a boring ride to the store. That's why it's difficult to appreciate the sheer terror and thrill of riding this Honda CT70 (aka Dax) micro chopper at a breakneck speed of twenty-five to thirty miles per hour from the footage alone. Like I say at the end of the video, I haven't touched this bike since the end of 2023! I wanted to test ride this thing before I tear it down to do bodywork and paint, but I also didn't want to expose all that bare steel to the salt and snow of an upstate NY winter. The snow did melt eventually, and the salt washed away, but by then I had gotten all wrapped up in other things. If you haven't seen this little guy before, I have been working on this thing, here and there, for years. I built this weird looking reverse-springer fork for it. I also made the strut rod/sissy bars and seatpan - which was upholstered by Ginger at New Church Moto. This bike has been featured in a few other videos where I've made a bunch of other stuff, like the stainless steel handlebars with integrated lever perches, foot controls, and modified stock exhaust pipe. IDK it's silly and I have been having a lot of fun with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ __________________________________________________________________ The CT70 Microchop playlist :    • Honda CT70 Micro-chop   __________________________________________________________________ I'm on Instagram @roodlum   / roodlum   __________________________________________________________________ Chapters: 00:00 doing a kick 00:36 doing a ride 05:39 doing a chat
