The young woman refused to admit it to herself for a long time; after all, she was always the loud one, the fun one, the one who helped others and managed everything. She's an occupational therapist and has worked with people with mental health issues. Every night she lay in bed thinking, "I can't go on." It was only after her diagnosis of Long Covid and the resulting sick leave that she was able to stop and realize: The exhaustion wasn't just physical. There was more to it. Diagnosis: Burnout in her late twenties. For a long time, she didn't dare accept help, thinking, "Others are doing much worse than me."
