Albury, NSW - What To Do When Visiting The Border For A Day: Monument Hill, Botanic Gardens & More

The City of Albury is located on the Murray River, on the Southern border of NSW, just across the river from the Victorian town of Wodonga. The city is a vital distribution and transport hub on the Hume Freeway between Melbourne and Sydney. Being the closest major city growing up, we often visited Albury. When lockdown was listed and we were allowed to travel again, we went into Albury for a day to remember what it was like to dine out. In this travel guide we will give you some tips on what to do if you are visiting Albury for a day. These include visiting Monument Hill, the Albury Botanic Gardens and taking a walk along the Murray River.
