A Tour of one of the UK most Haunted Prisons -BODMIN Jail Cornwall

Hello and welcome to my channel in this video i will take you with me when i visited BODMIN Jail Cornwall This historic prison was built in 1779 and housed inmates up until 1923 it was a prison for men, women, children and the navy. The tour depicts the changes of crime and punishment from the Georgians to the Victorians and also gives an insight to CORNWALLS past, it also was a site where 55 executions took place which were made as a public event the last execution at the prison was in 1909, the prison actually closed in 1927, which from then the prison became quite derelict it has been restored as both a visitors attraction and a luxury hotel it also offers a gift shop and restaurant and it is also reported that it is one of the most haunted prisons in the UK. It offers regular guided Ghost walk tours and Ghost Experiences, so if your in this part of the UK this is a fascinating place to visit we actually spent three hours here.
