2027 Kia Telluride | POV Night Drive

2027 Kia Telluride X-Pro SX-Prestige POV night drive, review, highway drive, launch control, 0-60 acceleration, exhaust sound. We can safely say that the first generation Kia Telluride was a success. During its 7-year tenure, Kia sold almost 700,000 units in North America. The buyers loved it for its styling, practicality, and comfort-oriented ride. It certainly gave Toyota, Honda, and Ford a headache, being one of the top choices in the segment of 3-row family SUVs. The second generation is entering the market as we speak, and trying to stir the pot again. Not only with the “Rocky Mountains inspired design”, but also with more interior space, new powertrains (including a hybrid) and improved comfort. If we omit the fact that the new model is very similar to a certain British SUV, I have to give it to Kia - they did a great job with the styling. It’s modern, interesting, and coherent. Same with the cabin - amazing practicality with lots of storage solutions, physical controls for all crucial functions, and a good amount of space in all three rows. If you feel adventurous, the X-Pro trims will give you 9.1” of ground clearance, 18” rims with all-terrain tires, e-LSD, and recovery hooks. Attacking curbs at Target’s parking lot has never been easier! The biggest change (for the better) is the engine. Gone is a 3.8L naturally aspirated V6 which was smooth, but lacked torque. We now have 2 powertrain options: 274 hp 2.5L turbo-4 with an 8-speed automatic 329 hp 2.5L turbo-4 hybrid with a 6-speed automatic The new model starts at ~$39k for a base, FWD model. To get a hybrid, you’re looking at least $46k. Our fully loaded X-Pro SX-Prestige costs… $60k. It’s a lot of money, however, looking at the rivals, it’s on par with Toyota’s, Honda’s, or Ford’s offerings. Other SUVs to consider are a Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Grand Highlander, Kia Sorento, Honda Pilot, Mazda CX 90, Ford Explorer, Chevy Traverse, Subaru Ascent. 00:00 - Sneak Peek 00:11 - Exterior 00:42 - Interior (Front Seats) 01:45 - Technology 03:56 - Interior (2nd Row) 04:56 - Interior (3rd Row) 05:35 - Trunk 06:15 - Exterior 07:08 - Driving 09:43 - Highway 12:55 - Ambient Lighting 14:35 - Driving 17:33 - Highway 18:59 - Acceleration 19:15 - Driving Specs: Engine: 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder | 274 hp | 311 lb-ft of torque Transmission: 8-speed automatic | AWD Color: Terrain Brown Matte Price as tested: $59,580 #kia #kiatelluride #suv #pov #review #cars Follow me on Instagram and TikTok @tom.swiatek
