Nothing Went According to Plan in Lisbon (And We Loved It)
This was supposed to be a day of gardens, museums, and sightseeing in Lisbon... but almost nothing went according to plan! The Botanical Garden was closed because of a storm warning, the Gulbenkian Museum was closed for renovation, and the rain kept following us around the city. We still watched peacocks wandering through the park, visited the CAM museum on a free admission day, sampled an award-winning pastel de nata (I still prefer the ones near Jerónimos!), even enjoyed a brief sunny break on a terrace, and ended up hiding from the rain over afternoon tea at the wonderfully cozy Midnight Espresso. So yeah, nothing went by the plan and i absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. Also, any plan and no plan at all is equally enojyable with my long distance bestie :) #travel #lisbon #travelvlog
