In addition, wind and waves create resistance on the main line, causing the bait and sashie bait to gradually drift apart. You can re-synchronize them by holding the rod or by stopping or adjusting the main line. This is "tension." The effort to align the bait and sashie bait plays an important role in sea bream fishing.
