This is the beginning of a two-wheeled adventure that will take me from Lima to Cusco, traveling more than 1,200 kilometers along one of the longest and most demanding routes in Peru. I will follow the same route traveled by interprovincial buses, first crossing the southern coast, passing through places like Pisco, Ica, and Nazca, and then entering the mountains, gradually ascending among curves, mountains, and Andean villages until I reach the historic city of Cusco. This is not just a long trip; it's a physical and mental challenge... a route full of contrasts, where the desert heat turns into high-altitude cold, and fatigue turns into excitement. Thus begins this journey: with a bicycle, a dream, and the promise of living one of the most intense experiences of my life.
