This is when driving test applicants take too long in the middle of the road. This can obstruct other road users during your driving test in Ireland. I do mention in the video we are allowed to dry steer. I recommend dry steering in your driving test when you are doing the turnabout on a narrow road. Correct observation during the turnabout is looking left and right, up and down the road. Remember, it is not our mirrors, it is up and down the road. Also, during the reverse part of the turnabout, we need to look right and left and over your left shoulder, out the back window. Right of way during the turnabout suggests when we see another road user approach, we stop our car. When the other road users sees us and they stop, you complete your turnabout.
