Some images are imitated, reflected, represented, contemplated, or experienced. Meditation is Pure Consciousness beyond the work of the mind. It is commonly assumed that one must learn the lotus stance to meditate. However this is not necessarily the case. This position is preferable because it provides stability to the body, but a lotus stance or other cross-legged position on the floor is not necessary. It is essential to maintain a straight spine, but if this is difficult, it is not a hindrance to meditation. Everything takes place within you. How to sit in meditation: 1. You can sit in a chair and lean back against the backrest. It is best if the surface is firm enough for a straight back position. 2. Cross-legged on the floor, you can sit on a rug, blanket, or hard pillow so that your pelvis is above knee level and you are comfortable. 3. If your legs become tired and stiff while meditating, simply change position without losing concentration. 4. You can sit with your legs spread out against a wall. 5. It is essential to maintain a straight spine without strain in the body and back. How to prepare for meditation: 1. Prepare a comfortable quiet place where you won't be distracted by anyone, including your pets. 2. Air the room. 3. Take a warm or pleasantly cool shower if possible. 4. It is preferable if your clothing is comfy and made of natural light-coloured textiles. It's important to be comfortable in it. 5.
