Court ousts 3 trustees appointed to manage Karume properties

Three trustees appointed to manage the vast estate of the late defence minister njenga karume have been kicked out, after years of quarrels with children of the fallen business tycoon. High court judge roselyne aburili deposed george ngugi waireri, kung’u gatabaki and margaret nduta kamithi as signatories of the njenga karume trust, whose value is in excess of billions of shillings. But as francis gachuri reports, karume’s prime properties have been ran down, with the high court ordering an audit of all expenses incurred by the trustees from 2012 to date.
