22 tenors sing "La vita mi costasse" from Puccini's Tosca

Sing-off, Cavaradossi's most heroic and difficult moment (high B natural). 22 historical tenors in comparison - all live recordings. In alphabetical order. The tenors are: Barioni, Bergonzi, Björling, Carreras, Colosimo, Consiglio, Corelli, del Monaco, di Stefano, Domingo, Filippeschi, Garaventa, Giacomini, Kambanis, Labò, Mauro, Miranda Ferraro, Mori, Raimondi, Tei, Tucker and Zambon. The selection is not meant to be represantative for each tenor. Barioni for example had a clear off-night and Domingo was in splendid form in the recording presented. Also, the recording methods differ. Most are made by an on-stage microphone while others are recorded from far away. The recording of Giacomini is an in-house-recording I made myself.
