Clear Top Coats for EVA Foam

Do people tell you to "just put a clear coat on it" in order to protect your EVA Foam cosplays? Though people commonly say this, Co-Founder Chris is here to tell you that alone is not enough information. Why? Because, though some clear coats will certainly protect your work, others will quickly destroy it. So what's the key? Flexibility! Every substance coated on EVA foam, a flexible, material, must also be flexible. If it's not, prepare for catastrophic cracking. Some also may not be chemically compatible. This video demonstrates what happens when you use the good and the bad. The Verdict: This video was made years ago and to this day, Grumbacher Final Varnish remains my all time favorite.
