Het wordt laat: Diana Ozon over stapeling van ouderdomsaandoeningen

Euthanasia in cases of a combination of age-related illnesses is not very well known. It is – especially if you are physically healthy yourself – difficult to imagine what it is like to suffer from age-related illnesses. What is it like for loved ones to experience this with people you care about? What is it like for the person themselves to experience this? What does your day look like? And when is enough enough? For Euthanasia Week in 2025, we asked various artists to create a story based on real experiences. Diana Ozon wrote and performs the spoken word piece Het wordt laat (It is getting late). Diana began her career in the punk world and was already performing on many stages in the 1980s. In 2006, she became a fixture in literary history as a member of ‘De performers’. Her poems are sometimes a bit somber, but always engaged with the world around her. Diana performs regularly and also gives presentations and lessons.
