Unrehearsed collaboration embodies the spirit of both the Box Canyon project and the retreats that take place just across the Frio River at Laity Lodge. And it is precisely what Andrew Peterson, Andy Gullahorn, Buddy Greene, and Jeff Taylor gave us during this previously unreleased performance. This, from our first winter Box Canyon filming, is made of the very ingredients that are consistent in our retreat planning process: bringing friends together, being receptive to a place, learning something new, and … winging it. Long relegated to the cutting room floor, “Let There Be Light” finally sees the light of day.
