BMW Figure 03 Is Here! The Next Generation Factory Robot Revealed

BMW has officially introduced the next generation of its humanoid robot, Figure 03, at its Spartanburg manufacturing plant. This advanced Artificial Intelligence powered robot is taking on a completely new role in BMW production, showing how the future of automotive manufacturing is evolving today. After the success of Figure 02, which helped build more than 30,000 BMW X3 vehicles, BMW and Figure AI are expanding humanoid robotics into production logistics. Figure 03 now sorts vehicle components into sequencing trolleys before automated transport systems deliver them directly to assembly workers. The robot also features upgraded hands with tactile sensors, palm cameras, speech to speech communication, improved safety systems, and wireless charging.
