As yet, apart from a VHS release, these early Inspector Wexford stories aren't available on general release. Hopefully, some day a box set will be released for us all to enjoy. A young woman is found dead at the scene of a fatal road accident in which a wealthy businessman is also killed. It is a puzzle for Detective Chief Inspector Reg Wexford and his colleague D.I. Burden, who discover a possible connection between the deaths as they unearth a tangled tale of adultery, blackmail and greed.
