Human Rights and Natural Resources | Lead Mining in Kabwe

Leigh Day International, Clean Trade and the Transnational Law Institute presented an in-person series of panel talks on the human rights impacts of natural resource extraction and exploitation. Lawyers from Leigh Day were joined by the Trustees of Clean Trade and a range of experts from the UK and abroad to discuss the issues and impacts arising from four case studies comprising different industries and locations in the Global South. This was then followed by a general panel session to discuss themes and issues arising from all four case studies.
