Best Euro Business? Turkish Airlines 737 MAX Review | IST to Vienna SUBTITLES

In this video, I continue my journey with Turkish Airlines, flying from Istanbul (IST) to Vienna (VIE) onboard flight TK1885 — this time on their Boeing 737 MAX, featuring the airline’s brand-new short-haul Business Class product. This flight followed my early morning arrival from Almaty on TK 351, which surprised me with modern lie-flat seats and excellent service. But now, I was heading into a much shorter European sector — around 2 hours — and I was curious: could Turkish Airlines maintain its premium experience on a narrow-body flight within Europe? The answer: surprisingly, yes. This isn’t your average Euro Business Class. While many European carriers just block the middle seat in Economy and call it Business, Turkish Airlines goes further. Their 737 MAX Business Class cabin is configured in a true 2-2 layout with proper recliner seats, personal entertainment screens, adjustable leg rests, and USB + power outlets at every seat. In this full review, I’ll take you through the entire experience: Starting with Istanbul Airport, I headed to the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge — one of the best lounges in Europe, offering a full hot buffet, barista coffee, shower suites, and quiet zones for working or relaxing. Even though this was a short-haul flight, the pre-departure experience already felt premium. Boarding was efficient and I was seated in Row 2A, with a window view and a great look at the brand-new Business Class cabin. The seat felt fresh and modern — with adjustable headrests, deep recline, a sturdy tray table, and an IFE screen loaded with Turkish’s full in-flight entertainment system (including movies, TV shows, and a moving map). Onboard Wi-Fi was also available for Business Class passengers, allowing you to stay connected throughout the flight — a feature that’s rarely seen on short routes like this in Europe. Despite the short flight time, a hot breakfast was served shortly after takeoff. The tray included salmon carpaccio as a starter, followed by a main dish of roasted chicken with vegetables and potatoes, accompanied by fresh bread, fruit, and tea or coffee. The presentation was excellent and the quality of food far exceeded expectations for a flight under 3 hours. The crew on this flight was professional and attentive, delivering warm service with a personal touch. Turkish Airlines consistently shines when it comes to inflight hospitality, and this crew was no exception. I’ll also walk you through the IFE content, seat functions, and how this product compares with Business Class on other short-haul flights across Europe. We landed in Vienna on time, and my bag was among the first on the belt thanks to the Business Class priority tag.
