Are there really any differences between the two? Usually, this type of comparison leads to simple answers: which sounds better, which is more affordable, which is worth buying. Spoiler alert: the high-end guitar is better, in every way, especially when it comes to acoustics. I'm interested in telling you, however, not which guitar is better in an absolute sense, but at what point in the journey one guitar makes sense compared to another. Because in my experience, it's never been a question of price range, but rather of the stage of my musical life: There were times when a good, inexpensive guitar was exactly what I needed, and times when it began to feel too small because the way I used it had changed.
