Craftsman Garage Door Opener Wear Pad Replacement

Original part number 183A163 is now 041A7276 and fits almost all Craftsman, Chamberlain, and LiftMaster garage door openers with square rails. The wear pads allow the trolley and carriage to slide on the rail smoothly for many years, but these nylon wear pads eventually do wear out and then you will have metal to metal contact. This Craftsman Garage door opener was manufactured in June 2004, so it is 19 years old (almost 20). I got mine from eBay for $8.84 with free shipping and sales tax included.
