Schools in remote villages consist of a large tree, under which hundreds of children gather and learn the alphabet with a single blackboard. Many children here have never held a simple mirror, and at 10 or 12 years old, they've never clearly seen what they look like, so when you take a photo of them and show it to them, they're overjoyed. Most of the population lives far from civilization, where people can easily wash their motorcycles and brush their teeth in the same puddle. Passersby can always lie down on a pile of trash, take an afternoon nap, and it would seem harmless if everyone didn't have a machine gun under their pillow.
