Discovering America by Bicycle | PART 25: THROUGH THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY (Ohio to Erie Trail Part 4)

From Massillon, we head north through the Cuyahoga Valley, with remnants of the old Ohio & Erie Canal all along our route. A stop in Akron to get a cortisone shot for Julianna’s thumb and a lovely dinner at Luigi’s. The next day we dedicate for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, chock full of old canal artifacts and stunning scenery. We reach the outskirts of Cleveland, where we get a hotel for the night. In the morning we ride through Cleveland and on to Lake Erie, finally reaching the Great Lakes and a new chapter of our trip. We follow the lake through lovely neighborhoods before settling down for the night in Eastlake.
