Last Friday at the end of September 2018, at 17.02 WITA, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake followed by a tsunami more than 2 meters high hit the capital city of Central Sulawesi and its surroundings. Based on BNPB data, there are more than 60 thousand buildings that collapsed due to the earthquake in the area crossed by Sesar Palu-Koro.
