A Short Ride In The Duel Truck
1960 Peterbilt 281, Burbank California January, 2005. This is the 1960 Peterbilt 281 that is known as the "Surviving Duel Truck." This truck has appeared in multiple places, the 1994 music video for David Lee Roth's song "She's My Machine," the 1994 movie "New Nightmare," a commercial for the Chevrolet Malibu, and the 2004 movie "Torque." It has also appeared in a Motor Trend magazine, as well as Ten Four Magazine. While this truck is known as the surviving Duel truck there is currently no documentation to link this truck to the production of the movie.
