Reviving a 70-Year-Old Vintage Buren Grand Prix Watch! Welcome back to our channel! Today, we're excited to revive this 70-year-old vintage Buren Grand Prix watch, which has never been used. After 70 years, I'll service and oil it, and hopefully bring it back to life! The watch is equipped with a Buren manual winding movement calibre Buren 463. History of the Buren Watch Company: The Buren Watch Company was founded in 1898 in Buren an der Aare, Switzerland. Initially producing pocket watches and table clocks, Buren became known for its high-quality movements. In 1966, the company was sold to the Hamilton Watch Company, and later, it was taken over by SSIH in 1971. Unfortunately, the Buren Watch Company ceased operations in 1972, but the brand name lives on under the Schweizer Uhren Editionen in Hamburg!
