When Sadio Mané left Liverpool for Bayern Munich, his stock was still incredibly high. He was still one of Liverpool’s most important players, he had recently lead Senegal to the African Cup of Nations title, and he still carried a lot of clout in the game. However, despite a decent start with Bayern Munich after what was considered to be quite the coup for the Bavarian giants, the wheels fell off relatively quickly. Of course, an injury in the fall did not help things, but Mané suddenly lost his finishing ability in the winter, lost his place as a starter, and made a habit of clashing with staff and teammates alike. Most notably, his clash with Leroy Sane after their 3 - 0 loss to Manchester City stands out. Now it seems as though Sadio Mané could be on his way out of Bayern Munich after just a single season, as Thomas Tuchel told the media that he “fell short of expectations.” Is this the end?
