I visited Obz Square residence in 129 Main Rd, Observatory, Cape Town. This Student accomodation is on the main road with grocery stores and restaurants (e.g Pick n Pay, McDonalds, etc) in the same street. This large, modern residence is the latest addition to the UCT residence system and accommodates 880 senior and postgraduate students in en-suite single rooms. Eight to ten students share a kitchen. Some of the features of the complex include a variety of shops, a computer lab, a laundry and underground parking. Three large common rooms lead into a central courtyard garden.
