We apologize for the inconvenience. www.ANGELICUM.it On Tuesday, November 5th at 4:30 p.m. we invite you to a public lecture by Prof. Jean-Luc Marion. The lecture titled “Question of Being and Revelation” will be held in Aula Minor, as part of the JP2 Lectures series at the Angelicum. According to the metaphysical tradition, the question of being comes first, as a background for the question of the “existence” of God. Could it be possible, according to biblical Revelation, to reverse the order, and to consider being from the viewpoint of God, the creator? This question will be the main focus of professor Marion’s talk and discussion with the audience. Awarded with the 1992 Grand Prix du Philosophie de l’Académie Française, the 2008 Karl Jaspers Prize, as well as the 2020 Ratzinger Prize. Jean-Luc Marion is a former student of Jacques Derrida whose work is informed by patristic and mystical theology, phenomenology, and modern philosophy.
