DIY 251 Licks - How to make your own licks over a 251 chord progression
In this video, we look at how to make up our own 251 licks to use in our blowing. This method is thinking about each chord individually and how to approach it. Essentially, we play diatonically over the 2 chord and the 1 chord. It's the 5 chord where all the fun is had... Here we can appoint certain scales/arpeggios to the chord and then try and make the whole lick flow through the progression.
